(Tequila sold separately) And, as an added bonus, if you see the sombrero on top, you know the armadillo is right-side-up, which would indicate that it is a live armadillo. And when an armadillo is alive, it's celebrating! Join in in the celebration!

When my husband was a kid, someone gave him what was left of an armadillo---a dried-out carcass. He brought his beloved "pet" to live with us when we were married, but one day he discovered that some kind of worm-like critter had taken up residence inside the "shell." We were cleaning out the house before moving from Ohio to Maryland. We hired a couple of guys with a truck to come haul stuff away. Sadly, the armadillo was part of the stuff. One of the guys made us feel better when he picked up the armadillo and said, "This rides up front with me!"
